Tech Week Singapore 2025: Government leaders and tech giants converge to discuss the impact of AI

    • Guest of Honour Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information will be speaking at the opening ceremony

    • Tech Week Shanghai 2026 to be unveiled at the inaugural Tech Night 2025, Tech Week Singapore’s networking session that brings together notable speakers and key industry leaders from prominent organisations

    • Leaders from The Coca-Cola Company, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Oracle, World Trade Organisation and more, together with government officials, to lead the Main Stage and co-located shows

SINGAPORE – CloserStill Media, a global producer of market-leading events, has unveiled the notable attendees and programme highlights for Tech Week Singapore 2025, returning to Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 8–9 October 2025.

Under the theme ‘Connected Futures, Boundless Impact,’ the award-winning event will spotlight how artificial intelligence (AI) is accelerating cross-industry collaboration – from cloud, AI, AI infrastructure and cybersecurity to digital marketing and e-commerce – positioning Tech Week Singapore as Asia’s platform for industry-defining conversations and strategic partnerships.

    Opening Ceremony and Exclusive Tour

Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, will be the event’s Guest of Honour (GOH), alongside VIPs including senior diplomatic members and ambassadors from top embassies, chambers of commerce and key associations.

The opening ceremony will be followed by an executive tour for the GOH and VIPs, providing an exclusive showcase of the most innovative companies and technologies across Tech Week Singapore’s co-located shows. The tour goes beyond a guided visit and aims to be a prestige networking experience, facilitating discussions for GOH, VIPs, industry leaders and policymakers to highlight Singapore as a hub for innovation and cross-border collaboration.

More Voices, More Insights: Inspiring Collaboration in Tech

Over 550 regional and international speakers from leading organisations and government bodies such as The Coca-Cola Company, OpenAI, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Oracle, World Trade Organisation, the UK Government, the Government of Estonia and more will be speaking at the event. Key stakeholders across different industries will showcase groundbreaking innovations in AI and digital transformation through insightful keynotes, panel discussions and conference theatres, inspiring meaningful collaboration across the region to create boundless impact with tech.

“AI is already reshaping industries like finance, aviation, manufacturing, and electronics – helping businesses cut through complexity, speed up decisions, and bring new ideas to market,” said Andy Brown, Head of Go-to-Market for APAC, OpenAI. “With our latest model, GPT-5, we’re seeing that progress accelerate in very tangible ways. Tech Week Singapore is a compelling event to share these lessons, collaborate with industry leaders, and explore how we can push AI even further to deliver real-world value for organisations and communities.”

Launch of Tech Week Shanghai 2026 , ASIA-ISAC and New Data Centre Technology

Tech Week Shanghai 2026 will also be officially unveiled at Tech Night 2025. Tech Week’s expansion in the region is timely and aims to accelerate tech-driven discussions on data ecosystems and compliance that will fuel international growth across different sectors. Tech Night 2025, Tech Week’s inaugural, high-impact networking session starting from 5pm on the first day, will further aid in catalysing collaboration between speakers, VIPs and exhibitors. It provides attendees with a golden opportunity to network and engage directly with C-suite leaders, influential decision-makers and tech trailblazers shaping the future of digital transformation.

In addition, Tech Week Singapore is launching Asia Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Asia-ISAC) in response to the growing challenge posed by cyber threats. IBM’s 2025 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index revealed that APAC experienced the most cyberattacks in 2024, accounting for 34% of all incidents investigated. With cyber threats continuing to escalate in the region, the need for organisations to bolster their cyber defences collaboratively has never been greater. Asia-ISAC is the first and only cross-industry, non-profit hub to help companies reduce the cost and impact of cyber attacks, and it will officially launch at Tech Week Singapore 2025. This cements Tech Week’s reputation as an all-in-one event for all things tech, providing industry leaders with insights and announcements aligned with evolving threats and trends in the sector.

Lastly, ECOLAB will be exclusively unveiling a new technology for data centres at their exhibition. Distinguished guests from government bodies and international business associations will also be present to witness the launch.

6 Co-Located Shows, 9 Country Pavilions: Refreshed to Showcase Global Innovation

To deliver unique perspectives from a wide array of industry leaders, Tech Week Singapore 2025 includes co-located shows, including Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia, DevOps Live, Cyber Security World Asia, Data Centre World Asia, Big Data & AI World Asia and eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia. Attendees can attend workshops by Google Cloud at Big Data & AI World Asia, lectures by ISACA and the opportunity to collect CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points at these events.

Cloud Expo Asia’s rebranding to Cloud & AI Infrastructure Asia in 2025 shows that cloud computing is no longer in siloes, but intertwining with AI to signal technology’s advancement across industries. Asia’s leading data show, Data Centre World Asia is also returning as the world’s largest data centre event, expanding by 75% in space for a line-up of exhibitors this time round. The co-branded eCommerce Expo | DMEXCO Asia event, launched in partnership with Koelnmesse and BVDW, highlights Singapore’s position as a dynamic hub for digital business across sectors, including marketing and retail innovation.

This year, nine country pavilions will be featured – an increase from six pavilions last year – to allow more opportunities for local tech companies to showcase their innovations at a global scale. These include the Singapore pavilion, Zhejiang pavilion, Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf pavilion, Shaanxi pavilion, Austrade pavilion, Australia Global Victoria pavilion, Taiwan Taitra pavilion, Jiangsu pavilion and Pakistan pavilion.

CloserStill Media’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Andy Kiwanuka, said: “With this year’s theme of ‘Connected Futures, Boundless Impact’ at Tech Week Singapore 2025, we are bringing together technology leaders from diverse industries to showcase how AI convergence can unlock innovation and growth across sectors. The launch of Tech Week Shanghai marks an important milestone and augments our vision to spark more conversations on how technology can drive collaboration, innovation, and growth across the region.”

Tech Week Singapore 2025 is expected to attract over 28,000 senior IT leaders, with more than

550 global exhibitors and over 550 regional and international speakers participating. The event will be held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 8–9 October 2025.
